When the world draws to a halt
A pause in its timeless frame.
An ache of a bustling past,
A brake from its daily game.

When silence and empty streets
Unite against a common foe,
Closed doors and windows latched,
Sheltered from the unseen blow.

When the walls close around you
Let your free mind take wings.
For never is art more revered,
Than free from earthly things.

Let your thoughts soar the heights
Untouched by man before.
Let your words flow unbound
From within your closed door.

Let your heart say out loud
What it shied from all this while.
Break free from the unseen shackles,
And conquer struggles with a smile.
