A Spring Tale

When will she find the Spring to her Fall?

Another day, another tale
Flows effortlessly
From her quill, without fail
Deeper than eyes can see.

Some, to chance owe their cause
Some to her heart's delight,
Some with wonders, some with flaws,
Some dark as the night.

Some she gazes lovingly,
Some her heart did break.
Some were never meant to be,
Some were all but fake.

She writes them all upon her soul,
She holds them to her heart.
These tales that consume her whole,
Threaten to tear her apart.

She steps further into the unknown,
With each new tale her way.
Waiting for the bright new dawn,
That will start a bright new day.

There is one she seeks amidst it all,
Lost in all these tales.
The spring to her dusty fall,
Who'll put her back again.
